Privacy Policy
This policy explains what data Hance (operated by Orva Studio, "we", "us") collects and how we use it. Hance is a command-line tool and optional local browser UI that processes video and images entirely on your own machine.
Your footage never leaves your machine
All rendering happens locally on your device. Hance does not upload, store, or transmit your video files, images, presets, or render output to us or to any third party. We never see your media.
Crash and error reporting
Hance uses Sentry to collect anonymous crash and error reports so we can fix bugs. These reports may include technical details such as your operating system, app version, error stack traces, and a coarse IP address used for geolocation. They do not include your media. You can disable crash reporting at any time.
Purchases
Hance offers a one-time Pro license. Payments are processed by our payment provider (e.g. Stripe), who handles your card details under their own privacy policy — we never receive or store full card numbers. To deliver and validate a license we retain your email address, license key, and purchase record.
Website analytics
This website may use privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics to understand traffic. We do not sell personal data or use it for advertising.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (e.g. the EU/UK under GDPR, or California under CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you, and to request that we stop processing it. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected].
Changes
We may update this policy as Hance evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above.
