Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of Hance, a tool operated by Orva Studio ("we", "us"). By downloading, installing, or using Hance, you agree to them.
License
The Hance source is released under the Functional Source License (FSL-1.1-Apache-2.0): you may use, modify, and redistribute it, but not to build a competing product or service. It converts to Apache 2.0 on April 1, 2028. Your use of the source is governed by that license.
Free and Pro
Hance is free to use for its core functionality. Some features require a Pro license, available as a one-time payment of $49 USD. A Pro license is granted to you for use across your own machines and does not expire. See the Free vs Pro page for what each tier includes.
Payment and refunds
Pro payments are processed by our payment provider. Hance Pro comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee: if you are not satisfied for any reason, email us at [email protected] within 30 days of purchase and we will issue a full refund. This is in addition to any refund rights you have under applicable law.
Acceptable use
You are responsible for the footage and images you process with Hance and for having the rights to do so. Do not use Hance for any unlawful purpose or to infringe the rights of others.
No warranty
Hance is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. You use it at your own risk.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Orva Studio is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data or footage, arising from your use of Hance. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for Hance in the prior 12 months.
Changes
We may update these terms as Hance evolves. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. Material changes are reflected by the "last updated" date above.
